Once upon a time, in a tiny store in New York City, three Furbys (a pair of fraternal twins and their cousin), sat on a shelf (okay, they were goofing off!) waiting to be adopted...

BAH-ZOO-KAH, THE TWIN & TOH-DYE

The twins were named Bah-Zoo-Kah and The Twin. (Their mom never even bothered naming him!) Their cousin was named Toh-Dye.

Besides being cousins, Bah-Zoo-Kah and Toh-Dye were best friends. :-) At night, after the shopkeeper went home, they would sneak out of their boxes so they could have some fun! The Twin -- besides having ALL the Furbys in the store laugh and call him names we can't print here, was also never allowed to join in any Furby games.

(BTW, The Twin wasn't all that bright...)

Bah-Zoo-Kah and Toh-Dye did everything together. Played together. Ate together. Sang together. Chatted on their tiny toy cell phones together. Slept together. (Well, maybe they didn't slept together... Isn't it illegal for first cousins to sleep together in New York? I dunno... Probably not in California, though. Heh)

While the best friends would play and do all sorts of cool things together, the not-too-bright twin would head off to the bathroom alone (Head? Did I say HEAD??? HA! I KILL ME!) and uh, um... well, YOU know -- uh... "amuse himself". (Heh)

THE TWIN

BAH-ZOO-KAH & TOH-DYE

One night, the North Star was particularly bright...

And on this night, Bah-Zoo-Kah and Toh-Dye prayed before going to sleep that someone would adopt them soon...

Meanwhile, Bah-Zoo-Kah's not-too-bright twin brother sat in the store's window, eating a slice of double-cheese and pepperoni pizza EVERY SINGLE TIME he counted yet another star in the night sky...

LAURA

Sure enough, the very next day this lady named Laura went into the store looking to buy some Furbys! When she saw the pink one, the spotted one and the white one, she smiled and adopted them all!

She kept Bah-Zoo-Kah for herself, sent the snowball-looking Furby to her best friend Loretta in California, and sent Bah-Zoo-Kah's twin brother to her friend Dick's young daughter, Michele in Florida.

Bah-Zoo-Kah and Toh-Dye were a little sad knowing they'd be apart, but when they found out they'd STILL be in constant contact -- they'd be the Furbys of two best friends! -- they literally jumped for joy! As for The Twin -- he slept through the whole thing!

EPILOGUE

Today, Bah-Zoo-Kah has an interesting life with Laura in New York City, and Toh-Dye lives not too far from the San Andreas fault line in California with Loretta... In fact, Toh-Dye got to experience his first earthquake! (Talk about being all shook up! Heh) The best friends talk to each other several times a day on the phone.

The Twin??? Well, last we heard he's not doing too well in Florida... Michele was taking good care of him until her dad had this Bad Day At The Office... When he got home from work he really was in No Mood to hear The Twin's constant, incomprehensible ramblings...

DICK

So late one night, while his little girl slept, Dick "accidentally" dropped The Twin head first... (Okay, he THREW IT across the room!) The screw that held the battery compartment closed fell out and could not be found... Of course, Michele was VERY upset, so Daddy Dick searched all over the house and garage for a replacement screw... The closest one in size he found was just a hair too thin... Needless to say, The Twin, whom lest you forget wasn't all that bright to begin with, now LITERALLY had a SCREW LOOSE... (Heh)

Sure enough, word of this uh, "accident" got back to Bah-Zoo-Kah, who (of course!) IMMEDIATELY phoned his best friend Toh-Dye to discuss in detail the "unfortunate" acident that happened to his twin brother.
